How to stream SF Giants' series finale against Blue Jays
The Giants' series finale against the Blue Jays won't be available on Bay Area television, so fans can only stream the action online. Sunday's interleague matchup in Toronto is this week's Roku MLB Sunday Leadoff game, just like the Giants' loss last week to the Dodgers before the All-Star break. The game is still viewable if you don't have a Roku device, though.

Has Giants Star Justin Verlander Finally Been Caught by Father Time?
One of the more intriguing free agent signings any team made this past offseason was the move the San Francisco Giants made to bring on future first-ballot Hall of Fame pitcher Justin Verlander. Arguably the best starter of his generation, the now 42-year-old Verlander agreed to the one-year, $15 million deal to move out west to show everybody he still had a little juice left in the tank. While there's no denying the monumental legacy the legendary right-hander has built to this point, it has become apparent that Father Time has begun to catch up with Verlander in 2025. As of this writing, Verlander has yet to record a single win on the year, and is also carrying a 4.99 ERA across the 16 total starts he's made in a San Francisco uniform.

The Toronto Blue Jays will be out to extend their nine-game home winning streak Sunday afternoon and complete a three-game sweep of the San Francisco Giants. The Blue Jays clinched the series win with a 6-3 victory on Saturday and have won seven of their past eight series at home. The last time Toronto won nine games in a row at home was in 2015. The Blue Jays are 34-16 at the Rogers Centre in Toronto this season.

Can Giants Star Willy Adames Carry Over Recent Hot Streak Into Second Half?
The biggest storyline for the San Francisco Giants over the second half of the season is most likely going to be whether or not their offense will finally be able to find some sort of consistency to back up their elite pitching staff. The biggest underachiever in this regard early on had been San Francisco's newest high-dollar addition in shortstop Willy Adames, who had been hovering around the .200 batting average mark for much of the first half. This unfortunate trend began to change for the slugger throughout June, however, as he finally started to look like the superstar the Giants were looking for when they signed him to a franchise-record-setting deal. From June 15th all the way up until this past week's All-Star Break, Adames hit .275 with an .829 OPS and four homers.

1 Fatal flaw San Francisco Giants must address before 2025 MLB trade deadline
Despite hovering above .500, the 2025 San Francisco Giants have been hampered by a mediocre offense that consistently lags behind their elite pitching. As of mid-July, the Giants are scoring just 4.07 runs per game with a team slash line of .230/.309/.369. In other words, nearly every night the Giants are asking their arms to win low-scoring contests. Big-ticket free agent Willy Adames, signed to be a middle-order bat, is hitting just .224 with a .700 OPS.
